After graduating from Loyola School of Law, I clerked for the Honorable Adrian G. Duplantier for two years. In addition to working with Judge Duplantier, I also worked often with the six magistrate judges, and from time to time with some of the other judges in the court. In the two years that I clerked I got to sit in on approximately 30 jury trials (civil and criminal) and probably 15 bench trials. My experiences in the Eastern District of Louisiana taught me a lot about the written (and unwritten) rules of procedure.
